Sortir la tête de l'eau

Cette oeuvre est de Yuko Takada Keller. This creation is made by Yuko Takada Keller.

To keep your head out of the water.
(sorry I don't know the expression in english)

This April month is grey, cold and rainy, and quite busy for me. A little too much if I can say.

Sjogren need to be perfectly monitored, so you have to keep going to check up to different doctors.  This month I'm seeing 4 specialists !

Every time the appointment is after my work, so I have to leave work early to be in time, and I have to make more hours the next day to compensate this. Or the day after if I have two appointments in a row...
Take a little problem on the subway and you have a wonderfull carzy week ahead of you !

I think I over estimated myself this time. Newt year I will make the appointment more slowly, maybe no more than 2 by months, even if this mean being a little late on the date of the "anniversary" of the check up.

I made the dentist and the ORL, I have the ophthalmologist and a vein specialist to go !

And since the ORL asked for more exams, I have win a bonus appointment, Youpi !

So my two cents: yes, it's important to be well monitored, but don't overdo yourself. If a check up is a little delay, it's not a big deal. I mean for one month, or two weeks.

I have often wondered if it would be better to have a Sjogren's Clinic where the patient just spends a day rotating from specialist to specialist. Would be wonderful at the end of those rounds if all of the docs conferred with one another to come up with the next month's game plan. One can dream.
I know that there are Sjogren's Centers popping up here and there all over the globe. I wonder if this is how it works?

Yes, it would be really great to have a place like that.
